  • LaseMD Ultra is a non-ablative, fractional thulium laser treatment that resurfaces the skin and stimulates collagen production. LaseMD Ultra creates microscopic thermal zones in the upper layers of skin without fully removing them, triggering your skins natural healing process to produce smoother, firmer, more even-toned skin. This treatment is highly customizable based on your goals, medical history, and Fitzpatrick skin type. 

    Full-face resurfacing takes between 30 - 60 minutes to allow time for numbing (this makes it painless!). Hair restoration appointments and spot treatments are much quicker!


  • Our most versatile device boasts a variety of applications, from skin resurfacing to spot-removal to hair restoration. Some common concerns we can address include:

    • Pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Current skin cancer

    • History of bleeding disorders or use of anticoagulants

    • The use of Isotretinoin in the last 12 months (Accutane, Absorbica, etc)

    • Active infections on the treatment area, including cold sores, eczema, psoriasis, and warts (Day of treatment)

    • Keloidal tendencies

    • Active sunburn (Day of treatment)

    • Botox within two weeks before the appointment

    • Filler (HA, Collagen) within 6 weeks before appointment

    • Recent exfoliating procedures on the treatment area such as chemical peels

    • Auto-immune suppressed patients, such as those undergoing chemotherapy or diabetic

    • Allergy to topical anaesthetics

  • We numb our patients for 15 - 45 minutes ahead of time to ensure painless treatments. Hair restoration treatments utilize very low energy, and spot treatments are very fast, and do not require numbing for a comfortable treatment. The sensation is described as warm and prickly.


  • patients see best results when they have consistently used custom skincare for at least one month prior to their laser appointment. Schedule a consultation with our Aesthetician to find out if your skin is ready for a laser!

    Prior to the laser appointment, it is important for patients to avoid exfoliating products for at least 7 days, and to avoid sun exposure. Specific instructions are sent upon appointment booking.

    After the laser appointment, post-treatment skincare is sent home with the patient to use until skin has fully healed. Specific instructions are sent upon appointment booking.

  • Our highest-impact resurfacing results come after three treatments, thus, we sell at a discounted rate for bundles of three.
    Spots may need multiple treatments, depending on desired results.

    Hair restoration treatments must be customized to the patient, and bundle rates are applied upon the creation of that personal system.

  • No. LaseMD Ultra only stimulates hair growth when used at specific settings as part of a dedicated hair restoration system, and only in areas where hair has previously grown. When used for resurfacing or spot treatments, there is zero risk of triggering hair growth.

What to Do After Your Treatment?

LaseMD Ultra is known for its quick downtime! You’ll receive a complimentary post-care kit after your treatment, as well as a reminder of post-treatment instructions.

Healing usually takes between 5-7 days. You may be red and feel sunburnt the day of the treatment as well as the day after. Then, your skin will develop a bronze microcrust, and dark areas may appear darker. Over the next few days, this crust will flake away, and reveal glowing, healthy skin beneath.

Make sure you do NOT scrub away this crust, and wear lots of sunscreen!
